Blogging has become an increasingly big part of companies in recent markets. Blogging can be used to attract different customers to the company. One common misstep that can happen when blogging, is that people have a tendency to blog to cater to the search engine optimization for the company, instead of blogging to help the interests of the potential buyer. Keeping the buyer persona is critical to effective blogging, they are considered the target market when you are blogging. They are the people who are most likely going to visit the blog and then become customers.

Blogging is a great way to get to customers that are in the awareness stage of the buyer's process. A blog can help raise awareness of what a company is all about and can serve is a starting point for many customers. It is important to consider what types of questions a customer is going to ask when approaching a company's website, and then answer those questions in the blog. This can help establish credibility with a customer over a long period of time, which can lead to a substantial amount of business in the future.
